Mr. Millican is a multitalented professional with expertise cutting across many disciplines in government and public affairs. For many years, including nine legislative and special sessions at the Georgia General Assembly, Mr. Millican has been involved in all facets ranging from fundraising to legislative strategy.
Most recently serving with State Senator Cecil Staton, Chairman of the Senate Science and Technology Committee, Mr. Millican has developed an in-depth knowledge on policy issues related to the internet, telecommunications and intellectual property. Mr. Millican helped manage the process for the creation of the Georgia Trauma Commission, working closely with all players in the public heath industry. He has also developed relationships with Senate leaders in both the Republican Caucus and Democratic leadership.
During his career, Mr. Millican has worked on a variety of projects in event management, policy research and development, grassroots strategy and implementation, marketing and media relations and non-profit affairs. He has been retained as a consultant for such companies as Altria, Farm Credit Counsel, Medtronic Sofamor Danek, Century Strategies, and the National Field Resource Network. Mr. Millican has also served as a campaign manager and strategist for several political campaigns.
